My life hasn’t always been a gracious and courageous walk with God. About 10 years ago is when I had a supernatural encounter with God’s Holy Spirit, at the lowest part of my life.

I was, at that time, in a toxic relationship with not only my ex, but with myself. I was on a 5 year high of competitive body building, fitness modeling, and addicted to men, drugs and alcohol… I know, it doesn’t really all tie together very well, does it?

My life was spiraling out of control and I fell into a year and a half stage of severe depression and anxiety; to the point that I could barely leave my home. While reaching for everything that the world had to offer, nothing was changing. The self-help books, more drugs and drinking, more, more more…. kept leaving me empty. Then came a moment when I hit my ultimate rock bottom, in a full out panic attack, crying on the floor of my room, I crawled myself to my walk in closet and shut the door behind me; I just wept on the floor. I had enough of feeling the way I had felt for so long and the way my relationship was going.

Not knowing if God was even real, I cried out to HIM! “God', I don’t even know if you’re real…. but I need you to save me from myself.”

Just then, the light in my closest began to flicker as if the bulb was going to go out… and in the spirit I felt a pouring of water over my entire body; it was so calming. Shortly after I heard an audible mans voice say, “It’s okay my daughter, I have you and I love you!”

My life has never been the same!

A great deal has transpired since then, by the grace of God, as I have committed my life to Him. He has lifted me from a place of darkness and instilled His Spirit within me.

I have had the opportunity to build a highly successful massage therapy and wellness business, that is along side God’s leading.

While I loved working in-house as a Christian massage therapist and wellness coach for many years, I became passionate about the idea of helping more small, faith-based entrepreneurs succeed. When I became a mom, I knew the opportunity had finally arrived. I quickly implemented my desire to work with entrepreneurs, and within a year Courageous Like Her was born. I now have the pleasure of working with aspiring business owners and entrepreneurs from all over the world.
